Mary Ann Gearheart

Mary Ann (Burdett) Gearheart, 73, of Hamilton, Ohio, was called home to the Lord on April 14, 2024 after a courageous battle against lung cancer. A testament to her courage and her faith in God, Mary Ann was a three-time cancer survivor who demonstrated bravery and strength. Her unwavering faith and fighting spirit were inspiring to those who knew her. Mary Ann's journey was marked by her continued faith and strength, maintaining her fighting spirit until her final moments, when she peacefully passed surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on November 2, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Clint and Nevada (West) Burdett. Mary Ann dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She loved gospel music, singing in the family quartet, The Gospel Singing Travelaires, and Crystal River. She grew up in Fairview Baptist Church and was a long time member of Crossroad Baptist Church. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting and fishing.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, who passed away in 2015. She is survived by her loving children, Glenna Oliver (nee Osterman) (Darren) and Dennis Miley; cherished grandchildren, Audrey and Vivien Miley, who brought great joy to her later years. She leaves behind several close friends, including her special friend Rick Loichinger, who also mourns her loss.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a visitation to honor Mary Ann's life on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tredway Funeral Home, 2131 Cameron Ave, Cincinnati, OH. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. Please note, there will be no graveside service following the funeral.
